Thank you, Paige! I was a little hesitant starting in due to the length too, but once I got going, I forgot all about the page count. The story completely drew me in. So don't let that deter you! :)

A very helpful review. I loved "The Thirteenth Tale" but did not like the sound of Diane's other book and wondered if "Once Upon A River" would be depressing. Words like "magical", "love", and "goodness" make me agree with you, that this is a story to obtain and be uplifted by!

I haven't read any of the author's other books, but I didn't find this one depressing at all! It was quite lovely, and I think you'd enjoy it, Carolyn! :)
