Ankit Saxena Hi all!

I'm offering advance copies of my upper-YA dystopian thriller Miner Town: Awakening in exchange for an honest Goodreads review. First-time here with this book and grateful for any readers willing to take it on.

The quick pitch: The Hunger Games' class-divide dystopia meets The Maze Runner's room-by-room gauntlet, anchored by a brother-and-sister bond.

In Miner Town, childhood ends at the Initiation, and a child is worth only as much coal as they can drag out of the dark to keep the Trinity's distant spires glowing. Fifteen-year-old Gage is his family's investment — his father and grandfather starved themselves for years to build his oversized body, betting one of them might last long enough in the pits to matter. His younger sister Camilla can read a machine the way other kids read faces.
Then a masked guard forces Gage's failing grandfather into a run that kills him — and carves the map of Miner Town into Gage's forehead as a warning to everyone watching. Gage stops surviving and starts planning, pulling Camilla and his friends Ben and Otto toward the one thing no one has dared: striking back at the Trinity. But the deeper they go, the clearer it gets that the world above the mine was never the whole story — and when the four of them are pulled beneath the wasteland into a place that shouldn't exist, run by a man who wears dead men's faces, survival stops being about hiding. Gage swore he'd get all of them out. He's about to learn what that costs.
