Sarah Brazytis And...the wolves. I can't shake the fact that the last wolves in England were killed in 1390! Even though I don't hate it as a plot device, there were other countries around in the Regency period that DID have wolves - France, Poland, America, even Ireland could be stretched (last recorded 1786).

Ooh, yes. I initially gave her a pass on it because at one point she explained they were just wild dogs . . . but you're right, not accurate. They acted like wolves and were called wolves through most of the book!

Sarah Brazytis True! Wild dogs could be anywhere, but wolves are pretty specific.
