I have never got round to reading this Kimber. How are you finding it?
Happy to see you are reading this, Kimber, like Leila, I've never managed to squeeze this one in, but am now anxiously awaiting your thoughts on this!
I’m interested to see what you think of the book Kimber. I saw the movie years ago but never read the book.

I've just started it today, so I'm not far in, but the characters are already drawing me in, Leila.😊

Thank you, Paula! I've not seen the movie, and I know nothing about the story. I'm excited to get into the thick of it!
I'm really excited about you reading this, Kimber.
Hardy was such an accomplished writer and he threw everything but the kitchen sink at this masterpiece! : )

So kind of you, Kevin!
It was an emotional rollercoaster! What a fabulous story and the writing is incredible!😊
I can only guess how quoting a 1983 hit is applicable to an 1874 fiction novel. I do know I like you, for familiarly thinking of one of my favourite songs and karaoke go-tos! I am Carolyn.

The words to the song fit the storyline well. Granted, the music might be a little progressive for 1874. 😉
I'm glad the song brought back a good memory! It's lovely to meet you Carolyn!😊
Fantastic review Kimber! This is another one I’ve had on my list for quite awhile... I need to get to these books😊

A wonderful review, Kimber on a great classic. I loved Thomas Hardy and some of his poems have stayed with me most of my life. Thanks!! :):)

Ooh, this is a dazzling review, Kimber! After my very recent, wonderfully positive experience with Hardy, I'm even more keen to read this one now!
It is fun to see a song that I know so well and which we clearly enjoy in common. I have seen Pat Benatar in concert, at a multi performer festival!

Terrific review, Kimber. So good to lose yourself in an engrossing and satisfying book. I've only watched the movie (which I liked immensely) and am sure Hardy's writing is even more compelling.
Lovely review Kimber. I remember watching the movie version (always like to watch these classic tales).
