Yup, I got to a part where he said no one knows how many snipers were in country. And records could have been lost or destroyed, the US didn't have a solid tally, the South Vietnamese didn't know, nor did the Commies even care. SO WHY does the author think we'll care? Luckily, I can skim the procedure parts and get to the (pitifully few) stories about actual snipers.
