I have three books published on Amazon, each in paperback and Kindle. When they were added to Goodreads, some were added with my middle initial and others weren't.

When I created my account, I didn't include the initial, but when I try to change my profile to add the initial, the system blocks me because this "other" author exists. How can we go about combining me back into one person?

Tell them you need them to merge your profile *into* this profile with the initial https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Be sure to emphasize that the resulting profile needs to have the middle initial. If after the merge it is still missing, just reply to them and let them know.
