Thank you for reading and reviewing! Honestly, I did write several 'reunion' scenes between Mitra and Yusef, but they all seemed too sentimental to me, like I was trying to tie everything with a neat bow in the end. Doing that feels like I'm not giving my readers enough credit for their understanding of complex characters. But you got it: the two of them can now have a relationship again. How that relationship might look is then left up to the reader, and being a reader myself, I love when a book lets me imagine all the different ways the story might continue.
