Hello and thank you for sharing your review. My wife enjoyed this book but had some of the same complaints. I feel that Stoicism is becoming an in thing in our culture. Not the study, just the acknowledgment to attract a little interest. I will read it when I finished with your new book on Cicero. 1/2 way through and enjoying it immensely!

I actually did not know! I listen to the book in the audio version and did not hear any acknowledgments. At any rate, I don't know the author.
Just a fun detail that she got some of her stoicism through you.
