One of the things I hoped to accomplish with Elena's story was to show how a relationship can look perfect from the outside while hiding something very different behind closed doors. I'm glad that aspect resonated with you. I also appreciate your comments about reading the story from a male author's perspective. Elena was a challenging character to write, and I wanted to approach her struggles with empathy while still delivering a tense thriller. You'll be happy to know that I'm working as fast as I can on the series. At the moment, Volume 4 is already out and takes Elena to the glittering lights and dangerous shadows of Las Vegas. Volume 5 moves the story to Paris, where new secrets and new threats await. And Volume 6 will even take readers into the Caribbean, where paradise is not quite what it seems. I've always wanted the Veiled Vows series to feel like a globe-trotting thriller while staying true to Elena's personal journey. In many ways, they're perfect summer reads—sun, travel, luxury, romance, danger, and plenty of twists along the way. Thank you again for your support and encouragement. Wow, love your review Kara. This is the perfect series for long hot summer days. Dark Romance wasn't my genre but I couldn't put those books down. All the right ingredients :-) and this was only the beginning... all the best Peter
