I know you won’t mind me commenting Cécile, so I will say I found it fascinating and even eyeopening how a small flick of a switch, making Grayson the right man, and then only altering some of his thoughts, allowing everything else to remain the same, has made this a story that might be more acceptable to some readers.

Is Grayson actually a different man? Or is he just luckier in this new edition? Would he have behaved the same if he was dropped back into edition 1? The answer is Yes, for me.

To be honest,me too….
I mean,you know going in that it’s a CNC.
Meaning that he’s going to do things that you might not like.
Grayson still ends up being the right man,just as you intended.
But to have him being “the right man” from the start seems to make him,and his actions,more acceptable for some readers.
Even if those actions still contain things you might not like….and the man himself is still the same.
At least,he is to me….
