NB: This would be SO much easier if we could claim a book as we used to be able to do. Also, I believed I had "Librarian" status (certainly did have it at one stage), so this should be something I could do for myself without bothering you guys, but I can't see a way to do it, so...

Regarding series creation - to be a series at Goodreads, books need to have shared characters and/or take place in a shared universe. Sharing a plot pattern or type of content isn't sufficient. It wasn't clear to me from the description at Amazon whether the book fits the GR criteria. However, another librarian may feel differently.

The books in this series will share (a small number of) characters and all take place within a small region of Manchester, UK, with several buildings being mentioned in stories across the series to ground the reader in the area.
