Loved the review. Although I think the FMC’s name is Sybil rather than Sylvia 😊 (unless there is a character names Sylvia that I am yet to encounter).

Like you I expected to hate this and … very much did not.
YES! Was hoping it would win, although I would have been OK with Flashlight - I did like this one slightly better! I will probably do a reread at some point. And Jane Fonda is doing the film, so THAT should be interesting....
