The "biggest" news in the USA (trainwise) is that the Big Boy is on tour . This immense steam locomotive is coming to many cities and is a unique opportunity to see what the Era of Steam produced.

Gary Inbinder Hi H. I'm a train buff, too. I always tried to be accurate about the details of travel in my historical novels.

Jan-Maat It sounds like a hymn to great (effective) architecture, i think of all the railway terminals that I have known that are big glorious sheds with no such pretentions where the passengers collide or get packed together in a rush for the train :)
