Shubham Jain Hi everyone!

I'm Shubham, joining from India. I've been a lifelong horror reader and horror movie enthusiast, and one of the things I love most about the genre is its ability to give a voice to people and experiences that are often overlooked elsewhere.

As someone who is naturally introverted, I've always been drawn to stories about people living rich inner lives—people who feel deeply, carry complicated emotions, and don't always fit comfortably into the world around them. That's one of the reasons I'm excited to be part of a community that celebrates diverse voices in horror.

That fascination eventually inspired me to write my own debut horror collection, Solitude. While it's a supernatural and psychological horror book, it's really about loneliness, desire, identity, grief, and the hidden emotional worlds people carry within them. One of the stories follows a queer protagonist navigating longing, isolation, and connection, while the others focus on characters who are often overlooked, unheard, or struggling to find their place in the world.

I wanted to write horror that wasn't just about what lurks in the dark, but also about the things people quietly live with every day.
I'm always looking for recommendations, especially queer horror, psychological horror, folklore horror, and stories from underrepresented voices. And if any of this resonates with you, I'd be delighted if you checked out Solitude. It's available on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, and as a debut author, I'd genuinely value your reviews, feedback, or discussion it inspires.

Looking forward to discovering some amazing books and connecting with fellow horror readers!
