OK, *now* you've convinced me that I have to give this one a re-read.
James is really amazing at making an impossible situation and having his characters have to deal while also maintaining their high society faces.
It's not a novel about big reveals or changes of characters, but it's more about the small cracks in the facade revealing the truth.
