Thank you for this thoughtful review! I'm glad you enjoyed my novel.

I believe that books belong to their readers, and most of mine have certainly interpreted this book as a COVID metaphor.

But in case you're curious: I started drafting this novel in 2018 and I signed the book deal in 2019.
