Gary Fields Hi - I'm Gary Fields. After starting this journey twenty years ago, my recently released debut novel is a modern-day thriller interwoven with eight stories of historical fiction that take place in various cultures over the past two thousand years. Readers are favorably comparing it to The Da Vinci Code. Kirkus Reviews says "Fields delivers a twisty thriller with a delightfully unusual plot that takes readers from 11th-century Normandy and England to 13th-century Beijing and beyond." It all starts when Joshua Sutton, a young lawyer, sees his mentor, a beloved appellate judge, brutally murdered. The Judge's virus-infected laptop holds an ancient secret. Josh and two others are thrust into a deadly three day search to solve the mystery. As they are pursued by murderous henchmen, Josh and Sammi (a doctoral candidate in history/theology) realize they are both haunted by dreams about historical judges who heroically seek justice in human rights trials. As Josh and Sammi put the pieces of the puzzle together, they end up in a pulse pounding race to New York City to stop the murder of another judge - one who could potentially save humanity. I am glad to take any questions from the community. (Q&A)
