Jessica Wolff Here's one... Dark fantasy trilogy with portals, wands, dragons, forbidden knowledge, magical universities, and dark academia vibes.

Savannah Mckinley If you want something with elite dark academia vibes, Nocticadia absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is immaculate! Dark, obsessive, haunting, with some of the best romance I’ve ever read. And if you haven’t picked up Nightshade by Autumn Woods yet, it’s another fantastic read that nails the genre with plenty of mystery, tension, and a yearning man 🙏

Chana Reid Keep your friends close
It’s a dark academia mystery, it’s really good

Ahmos T.B. The Knot of Isis. It's an own-voices Egyptian mythology novel that follows the darker events of the Isis and Osiris myth closely. It's myth-accurate and set in ancient Egypt rather than a modern-day setting, which gives it a more authentic feel than many mythology retellings. Full disclosure: I wrote it.
