Louise McLaughlin Hiya Steph, thank you for the review. I will be taking your points into consideration for the 2nd edition and the next in the series. Regarding the magical depth you mention, I hope you picked up on the humour in it. God's being powerless is purposely that way, as it's the humans' belief in them, not their actual powers, that gave them control over the humans. Whereby every witch's spell is simply Latin. I just find it a hilarious notion, and thank goodness it's a dead language, otherwise the world would be madder than it is already.

Steph Warren Hi Louise, thank you for your kind words and for explaining a bit more about the world of Discovery for me! I definitely did pick up on and enjoy the humour, satire and tongue-in-cheek themes running throughout the book - one of my favourite aspects as I do love my urban fantasy on the light-hearted/comedic side. Any author that adds to that specific genre niche is my kind of writer :)
