YESSS, cos she wears contacts most of the time but then Sho encourages her to wear glasses hehehe.

After awhile it get’s on my nerves.
“What are you looking at?”
“Did anyone ever tell you how serious you are when you drive?”
“No…?”
“And that you squint?”
I barely bat an eye at the last comment. “Well duh, I wear glasses.”
“Really? How come I’ve never seen them?”
“I usually wear contacts but I’m not wearing them right now.” I shake my head. “Stop distracting me.”
Sho is silent for the rest of the drive to my house, which is only for another ten minutes.

I turn my car off and I’m about to close the door to the car when Sho speaks up. “You’re going to leave me in here?”
“Yes?”
“To freeze to death?”
I roll my eyes again. “Okay, fine. You can wait inside while I get ready.”
Sho smiles and get’s out of the car, following close behind me.
Since it’s only 3 PM my parents aren’t home since they are at work, which means the house is empty.
“Just…stay here.” I command while taking off my shoes.
Sho mockingly salutes me before burying his hands into the pockets of his jeans.
I run up the stairs and change into a pair of skinny blue jeans, a loose sweater, my coat that I bought when I was out with Sho, and a pair of light blue converse shoes.
There’s a knock on my door just as I’m adding a pair of diamond stud earrings.
“Come in,” I say.
Sho opens the door and I look at him in my mirror.
“I thought I told you to stay downstairs.”
“You did, I just had something I wanted to ask you.”
“What?”
“Wear your glasses.”
“Why would I do that?”
“Because I asked.”
I hesitate. “I don’t know…I haven’t worn glasses in awhile.”
“Just wear them.”
“I don’t know.”
“Fine,” he sighs, and clasps his hands together. “Please can you wear your glasses?”
“Fine,” I huff and go over to my drawer where I keep my pair of glasses.
I don’t wear them unless I lost a contact or something of sorts.
After a second of just looking at them I take them out of the case and place them on my face, my vision growing clear.
“Well, here they are. Told you they weren’t something special.”
Sho just looks at me, and for the first time I notice that his pupils are dilated.
“Wow,” he breathes before clearing his throat. “Uh, I mean I knew they would look good. Come on, we should leave before it get’s dark.”

I laugh and shake my head as Sho closes my door, waving to me as I pull out of his driveway.

“What a day I whisper,” as I squint into the darkness of the night, the rain pouring down.
It didn’t help that there wasn’t many lights on the streets.
Turning the corner I see a rush of lights coming towards me and I swerve away, narrowly missing the car that speeds by.
Before I realize what’s happening my car is skidding against the wet ground and collides with a telephone pole.
The glass in my window shield shatters at the same time my head collides with the steering wheel.
Cold rain pours into my car as my consciousness fades from the pain the echos inside my head.

The next thing I know I’m hearing a voice nearby muttering. “Oh no. No, no, no.”
There’s hands that rip the seat belt off of me, and it’s a relief from the digging sensation.
“Come on, come on,” the voice mutters again as I feel hands on my shoulders then around my torso as whoever is it pulls me out of the car.
“Wake up, please. Wake up Allie, don’t do this to me.” the voice says and from the haze I’m in I try to recognize the voice. Slender hands cup my face and I can feel who ever it is brush my wet hair sticking to my face back.
“Please, Allie, just wake up—”

No. Way. I car crash scene??? I am SAT!!!🤭🤭 keep feeding me Agnes!!🙏😭

all the ones i’ve read that have girls with glasses they only mention them once when they are like putting their hair up in a bun and their sweats on and their glasses then the boy comes over. like yes we can have glasses without the author interjecting the boy a half page later

don’t get me wrong agnes i love it. infact i’m hoping it happens to me irl cause i wear glasses and contacts but i just wish fmc’s could wear glasses because they have eye problems and not take out their contacts just bc the boy is coming into play. I promise no hate on your book girl!!

For sure!! She does start wearing her glasses throughout the book because it's one of those things she decides that she wants to change about herself (cos in the beginning she's TOO polished) if that makes sense...like she wants to start being more herself and doesn't care what others think about her

My blonde cousin is always complaining about this. There does seem to be a majority of brunettes. Which is fine but you know, redheads and such exist. 😆
