Inspired almost equally by the big idea science fiction of writers like Arthur C. Clarke and the Hong Kong action movies of John Woo, Wole Talabi's second novel The Fist of Memory kicks off with arrival of a Rama-like mysterious object in our solar system, then dives into modern day Nigeria where two assassins pursue their targets, both driven by the events that have traumatised them. A compelling page turner that'll keep you reading to the end.
