Hello! My self-published title Prince of the Sun will be released August 4th, 2026. I have had a placeholder image as the cover up until now, but I finally have the real cover and would like to replace the placeholder. How do I add it?

Before a librarian can add a cover you would need to add further edition details including format and ISBN. Once that is done if you provide a link to an acceptable source we can change the image https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
My apologies! I didn't know you weren't allowed to put in a placeholder. It hasn't had an ISBN assigned yet. Here is the information it does have:Format - Unknown Binding
Expected publication - August 4, 2026
ASIN - B0GTWPMXTQ
Only a correct image as published should be added. It doesn't really seem possible to know what the cover will be if you don't yet know what format will be issued.
The cover will be the same for the hardcover, paperback, and ebook. Please let me know how to proceed.
Once the details are on the Goodreads listing provide a link to an acceptable source and we can change the cover.
I have set the format to hardcover but it won't let me assign an ISBN. The field is un-clickable. This is the ISBN I am going to assign the hardcover:
979-8-9962529-0-9
I changed the setting from hardcover to ebook and then uploaded the preorder for the Kindle edition to Amazon. It looks like, when I did that, your system picked up with the cover automatically and filed it under "Kindle" edition, with the appropriate ebook ISBN: 9798996252923But the other page, with the placeholder cover, is still there, under "ebook" instead of "Kindle". Can we take that away and just leave the page that has the correct cover? It will be on Kindle Unlimited so there will be no ebook other than the one on Amazon.
Let me know!
