P.R. Joanes Hi all,

so nice to find a group on one of my most favorite genres. I am so thrilled because I am finally reading the Night Circus and so fare I am totally baffled. Hope it stays that good.

I am also an indie author and recently published my miniseries "The Serpent of Lisboa". It is an erotic noir romance taking place in Portugal's magical capital. Fast read, totally bingeable.

Somewhere between erotic fever dream, dark fairytale and transformational story.

It starts out very erotic but then gets deeper over the chapters - emotionally intense, character driven, mythopoetic. And often you're not sure if something was still normal or actually magical.

Four chapters, four emotional temperatures.

One night, a mysterious woman climbs through Alex's window and ties him to the bed. He should call for help. He doesn't.
Fantasma thinks she can relate to men only by conrolling them. But Alex is different. Neither does he resist her, nor does he succumb. Soon, a complex relationship unfolds, in which both have to find out, if and how they can find a way together.

Darker atmosphere but no darker relationship dynamics.
A search for new ways of relationship between men and women.

If this feels like something, you might want to try, its out on KU.
