M.J. Webb Hi,
Just like to inform members that my new novel was released on Friday.

'When a well-connected aristocrat known for cruelty is shot dead at his ancestral estate, the precision of the hit tells its own story. This was planned, funded, and meant to send a message. Two masked gunmen vanish without a trace.

For Detective Inspector Bob Davis rules are optional and tact is overrated. His partner, Detective Sergeant Jodie Taylor, is determined to prove herself. But the victim’s past turns out to be darker than anyone expected and the deeper they dig, the more dangerous it becomes. The more enemies they make.

Soon, Davis and Taylor aren’t just investigating a murder. They’re uncovering a secret tied to powerful figures who will do anything to keep it buried… How hard do you push to uncover the truth, knowing that you may not survive it?'

The Alderby Grange Affair by M J Webb

I'm happy to answer questions.

Thanks for the opportunity to post. :-)

M.J. Webb Trying to decide whether a Free Giveaway on this site would be a great idea?

It's a lot of money to pay for the privilege of gifting for nothing your work but then there is the marketing aspect...?

Thoughts?

M.J. Webb I kinda dislike the beast I become after publishing a new novel, checking for comments and reviews every five minutes like a mad man.

I seriously have to chill. Lol

J.M. Harrison I am right there with you. I just published my very first novel and I have been the exact same way! Lol! Trying to get visibility, grow a reader base, etc. is hard!

M.J. Webb The struggle is very much real my friend. I wish you every success. The major battle is convincing readers to give your novels a try but best advice is to set small goals, keep perspective and try to enjoy the journey.

The hardest part is convincing readers to give it a try.
As ever.
I'm absolutely pants at that. :-)
