Hi Everyone, I have emailed everyone a list of members who are interested in holding interviews. I will check in to see how the process is working. I am thinking of posting a thread in the group to follow all the author interviews and the bloggers who are particpating in these.

I'd like to have a list of members who would like authors to do an interview on their site, then contact them myself. That way I can look at their blog and see if my stories fit. But that's just me. :)

Question, How substantial is an interview on here? Someone interviewed me on another site but they just sent me questions and posted it to their site, didn't really feel I got anything out of it. Are these interviews helpful to both parties?
We are really new group only been up since the end of December but some authors/bloggers have set up the interviews already, I haven't heard anything but postive feedback. I guess it depends on the blogger your working with and what you want out of the interview.

I'm an author who just did a blog post for one of the bloggers here and had a great time. Not a lot of comments, but I met some new people and generated some interest in my books. I think you get out of a guest post exactly what you put into it. With the people who did comment, I looked up their blogs, FB and Twitter, and now have a new group of people to interact with. :)
thats great Dianne, I think that works the same here I find people who are interacting with the readers people seem to stop by their posts to see what is going on ...so when the author is responding they get more hits with their books. And I agree I think you have to approach the readers have conversations I think one author I met by reading her book a friend now. and you know what I post her book all over the place to help her out. So it does help as I think she is a great person so I talk about her book all the time to my friends.
