I dont believe there are any active moderators at this time Chester-all the names listed as moderators have not been active in several years

Sadly some people did not like how the group was being "run" and thought they could do better. Obviously its not easy. I do kinda lurk about to see if anyone is chatting about anything. But have not seen anything current in a long time.

Heather/Jennifer - THANK YOU for dropping by! You can see how often *I* drop by! I do have a few things I'd like to discuss with a group that is 'somewhat' active.
Am I the only one here who isn't very active on social media? (well, expect for Facebook once or twice a month)
I'm sure I'm not the only being bombarded by 'wonderful' people who want to turn my book into an amazing best seller for a 'Nominal Fee'™ (which will only be discussed after a few Very Polite emails praising my work). My favorite activity with these folks is always to ask them how they 'discovered' my book? ugh....
I am curious to know if I'm the only one who has decided to take on an advertising campaign by myself - I'm having fun on my aforementioned FB page waging a cookie giveaway (via fresh new $2 bills!)... that only seems to be drawing the attention of a few friends and family - but what the hey! I'm having fun with it!
How about any of you?
PS - I promise to start stopping by here more often! Does this qualify as "chatting about anything"? ;-)

Does there *have* to be someone 'running' a group? Seems to me we can just stop by to talk/discuss whenever we want... I'll go out on a limb here (but don't tell anybody) - I think that's what we're doing right now. ;-)

Thanks Deborah! Guess that means "It's Liberty Hall! You can spit on the mat and call the cat a bastard!" (a sweet NO-PRIZE for the first person who correctly identifies the series this little phrase stems from!)

Apparently I’m a moderator? I once volunteered to help try to stir up discussions on the page but wasn’t given specific instructions and then the page seemed to die out.

I’m still reading Time Travel stories and would be interested in putting together reading discussions if people are interested.

Hello all, I am still listed as a moderator, but I will be honest, I have not been a regular here for a few years now.

However, now and again, I like to drop by and see what's new and I think Cheryl has gallantly been keeping this group alive with monthly book reads until recently. Part of the reason, I have not been popping in much is I have shamefully lost my ability to read books! I have to blame my gaming, smartphone and media watching...I hope to sometime, "fix" myself and get back to reading books again.

But having said that, if anyone wants something done that only Moderators can do, I am happy to help and I will keep an eye on this group for the next few days.

In the meantime, I have a fun post to make as I stumbled on a fascinating time travel discussion on YouTube that I simply must share...

I finally had my own time travel book put up on Amazon last year and have been trying to figure out how/where best to 'let the cat out of the bag' here on Goodreads.
Plus to share it with all YOU folks without it sounding like an advertisement...
