Agree. I actually didn’t finish the book, lost interest in most of the characters!
I liked the first 100 pages so much like it reignited myself joy for fantasy. I'm just so shocked they fumbled the this quickly! This is my first time reading Craig's novels, but I'll try out another.

I’m so glad someone thought the same way. It was so beautifully written the first 200 or so pages. And then it felt like a completely different book. Different characters. Plot. Etc. like what was the point of Merrick since he had maybe 10 pages of actual time?
