Berengaria It's good that books like this exist out there and might fall into the hands of someone who really just needs that little nudge to leave and stop identifying with "God the Abuser". I'm sure more people esp women would leave if they knew other women had made the leap. (even without professional training)

Srivalli (Semi-Hiatus) An interesting book and I like how you highlight the target audience and what to expect from it. Excellent review, A. 🌹

Thibault Busschots Shame it’s a bit negative, but the personal experience clearly helped the author write something worth reading. Good review, A Mac.

Kealyn These books are often so tricky to rate. Exactly for the points you pointed out. I'm glad you could overall enjoy this one.

message 5: by Rosh (new)

Rosh A difficult book to rate, but it might work better if read as a heartfelt memoir than as a self-help nonfiction. Fair review, A!
