Thanks, Jayme! I'd never be brave enough to do it, but it's fun to do it vicariously through others! 😅💗
I love the word "mom-trapped"! :D
Wonderful review, Kat! ❤️ I'm glad this surprised you in a good way.
I've not read many stories involving mountain climbing, the only significant exception being Jeffrey Archer's book on George Mallory and his expedition, which could have been the first to summit Everest. You might like that one.
This sounds like an interesting read about a Harrow experience, Kat! 💗 Thanks for the informative review!!
Wow! As a rock climber myself im intrigued! Ive never read any climbing books so this one and into thin air are now on my radar! Thank you so much Kat!
Outstanding review, Kat! 💖 I'll follow you up the hill and leave the rock climbing to the professionals.
I had never heard of Beth Rodden, but saw a video of her just a few days ago (and was very impressed). And now, by some strange coincidence, I spotted your review!
A fantastic review, Kat. And 'Apex' is queued up on my Netflix watchlist.
Rock climbing is not something I pick up, but this sounds rather interesting and the book seems to cover quite a few themes. Terrific review, Kat! 💚
I was an indoor climber for years, but never found the risk associated with outdoor climbing appealing. Wonderful review, Kat! This sounds like a very compelling read. 🩶

Thanks, Shelley! Rock climbing alone would be harrowing, but to add in being kidnapped ... it's harrowing indeed. 💗

Lol! I actually got the term wrong, though that one works. It's called "nap-trapped" and some smart soul came up with it I'm sure from hard earned experience. 😁 I corrected the term in my review. Thanks, Rosh! 💗

It's certainly not a life experience I can personally relate to! Thanks, Terrie! 💗

Me neither! It was a "wrong place wrong time scenario" that she's very lucky to have survived. Thanks, Angela! 💗
Vindhya wrote: "Wow! As a rock climber myself im intrigued! Ive never read any climbing books so this one and into thin air are now on my radar! Thank you so much Kat!"
I admire your bravery, Vindhya! It was eye-opening to hear Rodden describe how physically challenging it is. I'm sure you have plenty of stories to tell from your own experience! I hope you enjoy those books. 💗
You enjoyed this one a bit more than I did but I just finished watching Apex and it was good! Nice review, Kat!

Isn't it funny how it works that way sometimes? She is quite an impressive woman. I hope you enjoy the movie! Thanks, Kevin! 💗

I'd be far too cowardly to ever try it, but I'll admire those who do from a safe distance. Thanks, Srivalli! 💗

Thanks, Holly! It's certainly a complicated mix of emotions! 💗

That's amazing, Nancy! I wish I'd ever felt so brave. As for outdoor climbing, it sounds so complex. I know there's a lot of gear that likely keeps them safe, but I can't imagine attempting something so risky. Thank you! 💗
Canadian Jen wrote: "You enjoyed this one a bit more than I did but I just finished watching Apex and it was good! Nice review, Kat!"
It was probably more of a 3.5 for me, but I bumped it up for helping me through a dry spell in my reading. I'm glad you enjoyed Apex too! Thanks, Jen! 💗
Brilliant review, Kat!! 🥰❤️😘 I'm so happy you enjoyed it!! 💗💗 This certainly sounds very interesting! 🤩🫶🏼
