i don't mind sharing either but not when the author is trying to convince us the H is possessive and obsessed then it's just lame writing

And how would you know I haven’t started reading this book yet? The irony of throwing the toxic word around when you come into my review. Who invite you here?

EXACTLY some authors try to label their characters as “obsessed” but failed to grasp the meaning of it
I hate being surprised by a sharing scene. There was a similar book where the guy was also obsessed and I think they both had not been with anyone else and the mmc even pointed out he would never share and then all of a sudden, boom a sharing scene and the ending was then partaking in swinging throughout their marriage.
valid criticism, girl. I hate being blindsided by sharing scenes too and I find it extra annoying when the MMC was marketed as j/p or obsessed. like... clearly he's not THAT obsessed, is he? anyways. it's crazy how some ppl love to embarrass themselves in other ppls comments
"Apparently" is an adverb used to indicate that something seems true, is likely, or is known based on limited information, hearsay, or outward appearances.

The way these people are getting triggered over something I said that is actually a fact and indeed true is just plain hilarious.

That’s so awful! I hate being blindsided like this. Imagine trusting that author to deliver what they say they will do and changing the script just like that

Thank you! People get triggered over something I mentioned that is a fact and actually happened in the book… the author did not mention any sort of warning about sharing or anything at all in the book or in the blurb that could led to this. Good thing I only got into 36% when I found out about this. I would be so pissed if I found out later than that

OR maybe I was almost halfway through there when I got the spoiler and stopped right then and there. Really, with the way you are meddling into every comments that did not like this book, I hope you’re at least getting a good payment for it
I myself hate sharing and it’s a huge trigger for me so I’m always super cautious looking for any trigger warnings. While the author does have MFM scene listed on her site, her blurb is extremely misleading this book is a love triangle yet you’d only know that by going on her social media. Solely relying on social media to showcase a main trope like love triangle feels tricky and frankly rude. Not only that what if people don’t have social media? They just waste their money on a book they hate? Authors need to start being honest in their blurbs.
I think this is a totally valid review in the sense you didn't give it a star rating, so it's not like you lowered the overall score for the book. You hid spoilers. It just has some stuff you weren't warned about and it wasn't for you! No harm, no foul. Idk why everyone is getting angry. If you'd rated it one star and complained after knowing it had sharing in it, yeah that's different, but my God, people are allowed to have opinions!
The the problem is I thought it was just MF and then after reading the comments idk if it’s why choose or a love triangle. And I love them all and don’t have triggers but my mood depicts what I read. And sometimes I’m not in the mood for it if I don’t know I’m getting it!

Her mentioning this only in her social media is very irresponsible. What’s so difficult about stating this in the blurb on in the book? Not all people would go to author’s social media for more information on the book. That is what the disclaimer page is for.

I know right? I mean, that’s what the did not finish button created for and the fact that this review is more like my own notes for future reference just in case I forgot what this book is about. I did not rate this because I didn’t finish it yet some people are still triggered as if it affected the rating smh

Same here! Like I mentioned in the original review, I don’t hate sharing scene but I would hate to be blindsided by this when the main love interest is described as obsessed or possessive of his woman. It just doesn’t make any sense and would totally ruin my mood and would definitely affect my rating on this book. I ended up not giving any rating because I stopped before halfway through and it’s not fair to rate it.
@cajareads thank you for the warning! 🙌 It has been exhausting lately … so many recent reads having a hidden MFM or sharing in a monogamous setting 🤦🏻♀️🙄when are authors going to be transparent, market the book in a proper genre and be honest about type/types of relationships - and give all the information - CW, TW at the beginning of the book or audio - not have us going on “hobbit types of quest” digging for information left and right 🤦🏻♀️😵💫
And then when a person kindly shares safety and gives all these CW info, we get some immature trolls coming to attack your feelings about it!😵💫
That's fair, thank you for the constructive criticism <3 The tropes (including the sharing) are listed in the Amazon description, and I have now added it here, too. Thanks again!

Authors should be held accountable for this because so many of them dismiss this matter and it’s irresponsible of them since there are people who don’t like this trope. This author has now listed and added the trope which I really appreciate.
