Chad The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI has all of this transportation in it from the last 100 years including a passenger plane from the 50s you can walk through and even sit in the seats. It's pretty wild.

Oh, man...I haven't been there since I was a kid. I barely remember it!

Chad We lived in Detroit for 5 years and I worked for one of Ford's suppliers and we'd get free tickets. That place was so cool. Presidential limousines, train engines and cars, Rosa Park's bus, full planes, one of the Dymaxion houses. That place is so freaking cool.

Nice! I grew up on the other side of the state and made a visit to the museum when I was maybe 8 or 9? So, you know, almost 40 years ago...

Chad Yeah, I glanced and saw you were in Kalamazoo.

Peter Complete with the right to smoke! Imagine lighting up a cigar mid-flight next to a family. Nuts.

Chad We were flying when we were kids and everyone around us was smoking. My stepmom flipped out to the point where they moved us all up to first class. (I did have really bad asthma as a kid so it's not like she wasn't warranted in freaking out. I could hardly breathe.)

Sean Gibson The smoking on planes thing was wild. It still boggles my mind that that was a thing. And I loved how there were like no smoking rows, as though the smoke would respect the boundaries. That's a flying experience from childhood I'll never forget.
