Hello! I’m honored to be here. People often look at my life—growing up in poverty, losing soldiers in Iraq, surviving Seattle’s biggest earthquake, and losing my wife to cancer—and expect a sad story. I’ll admit, I spent a long time being mad at God and running the other direction. But surprise: this has a happy ending. I hope it blesses you as much as it healed me to write.
