Hey everyone,I wanted to share my debut epic fantasy novel Gift of Stars — it just went on sale today for $0.99.
This is the first book in a larger series I’ve been working on, featuring:
• two central characters whose paths eventually come together on a shared journey
• a magic system based on elemental crystals, each tied to different powers
• political tension, betrayal, and slow-unfolding mysteries
• a bigger world that gradually opens up as the story progresses
• grounded, more realistic combat shaped by actual training and experience
I tried to write something that feels like classic epic fantasy, but with a strong focus on character growth and a journey that builds over time.
If that sounds like your kind of read, you can grab it here (discount is live today):

If you end up checking it out, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts — feedback always helps a lot as a new author.
Hello all 👋I wrote and self published my first book this weekend 🥰
I’m having trouble deciding what to call the genre though. Would anyone be interested in a free copy to read for advice on how to market it?
It doesn’t fit neatly in any one genre for my autistic brain!

The Era of the End is a mythopoetic epic about the final battle between good and evil. It explores the biblical apocalypse from a faithful angle, focusing on the final assault of the demonic gods against the Kingdom of God and the Christian saints. My debut novel - Omega Plan - book 1 of 7 in The Era of the End series has the epic style of Brandon Sanderson, the thrill and conspiracy of the X-Files and the theology of the Bible.
For centuries occult secret societies have been working behind world empires preparing for an alien invasion. Two of these societies, the Cabal and the Alliance, plot to help humanity withstand the coming wrath and fire.
When America invades the Middle East after a terrorist attack on home soil, the schemes of the Cabal and the Alliance entangle and threaten the identities of Ben DePaula - a famous actor and marine captain, given visions of the past, and whose daughter has been kidnapped. James Casbolt – an Aes Sidhe chief and a criminal on a journey of self-discovery and redemption. Tara – a trafficked Aes Sidhe woman, forced to become a tool for detestable elites. And last, is Joshua Tanrıöver - an ex-conman whose eyes have been opened to the truth and things that have not yet come to pass.
"This work is vast in scope; having both great depth and breadth. “Omega Plan” is intense, profound, rich, and shocking. Within its pages are the worst of humanity and the best of God’s works.”

If you enjoy original stories with a mix of genre elements, I’d love for you to take a look. Happy to swap reads or chat about books too.

Hello all! My new book After the Ash Settles is available in Paperback, ebook, and free in Kindle Unlimited. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GLGQGKFN
In a devastated world where evil reigns, one woman stands apart.
“Smoke, ash, and the smell of death will choke the air, turn the sky red, and block out the sun…”
Ten years ago, violence ravaged cities across the world. Evil ran rampant without reign, wiping out everything in its path. In a matter of days, all semblance of humanity was gone. In its place— a world filled with chaos, violence, and death. Those that managed to survive were forced into hiding, living in the shadows, plagued by years of strife, famine and death.
“A great evil will rise up to enslave the innocent and weak.”
A power struggle ensued, leaving what remained to be ruled by the most brutal of mankind. New world powers vying for dominance. All with one common goal—Power and control.
“…in our darkest hour, time of greatest need… a warrior will rise up and come to our aid.”
Ava lost everything that fateful day ten years ago. Rather than conform to the new world order, she has spent the last decade quietly resisting. Living under the radar, helping those she can. In the isolated harsh climate of North America, she has created a hidden community for her newfound family to live free of the horrors of the outside world. A safe haven she will do anything to protect.
Take a journey through the imagination of J.M. Harrison in this post-apocalyptic dystopian drama with a multi-perspective twist.
Hello and thank you for your time. I am a new author and have recently released the first novel in my creationist science fiction series.Slip Space Castaway is the start of what it planned to be a very long journey for Terrance Phillip Nes. Terrance is a forty three year old foundry worker who, like many others, gets abducted by aliens looking for some disposable slave labor. Unlike his fellow captives Terrance's sleeping pod breaks and he awakens early.
What follows is a tense escape. Days later he is rescued by more friendly aliens who care for him while attempting to cross the language barrier. Once that hurdle is crossed Terrance learns that not only is he stranded far from home, but his hosts have no idea what he is, or where Earth is.
Cast adrift into an unforgiving galaxy Terry finds himself in a safe haven aboard an alien capitol ship and finds that maybe being abducted by aliens isn't such a bad turn of events after all. Determined to make something of his second chance at life, Terry seeks to pay off his medical debts and earn a chance at becoming a citizen of this galaxy spanning civilization.
Along his journey to apply for citizenship he must make difficult choices and face his fears in order to pursue his ultimate goal. So that he may one day return to Earth on his own terms, as the captain of his own ship.
Castaway is the first novel in the Slip Space series with it's sequel already in editing. I have the events of the first seven books planned covering the first major arc of this story.
This opening act of his grand adventure see's Terrance Nes becoming the idealized version of himself based on his dreams of becoming a science fiction hero. The series second act will cover his actions, responsibilities, and finally the consequences of his choices. The third act will then delve into how he grows, changes, and ultimately becomes the man he was meant to be.
The first two books were meant to be one however the length of the first novel was already rivaling the length of Dune which made me decide to split it into two. Now as I finish writing and editing the sequel to Castaway, Citizen will close out the start of this blue collar millenial's adventure in space, and start him on the road to fulfilling his dreams.

Journalist Nina Adams investigates the disappearance of Kylee Pryor in a small mountain town and quickly uncovers a disturbing pattern: women vanish and their shoes are left behind—clean, upright, and placed like a message. When Kylee’s friends Sienna Reed and Harper Gardner disappear next, Nina follows the trail into the forest and crosses into Morvantis, a strange world where time slips, the woods hunt, and people avoid speaking about what’s taken.
Stranded, Nina teams up with Calista, another human trapped there, and forms an uneasy alliance with locals who deal in warnings and information. As Nina traces the shoe “signature” across towns and trade routes, she learns the disappearances aren’t random—they’re a system, maintained by someone who can manipulate the seam between worlds. When Nina finally confronts the boundary’s keeper and gets proof, she realizes the door home won’t stay open long enough to return. She chooses to stay anyway, turning her investigation into resistance—because wishing won’t save the next girl.
Hi everyone! I'm C.S. Golding, and I released my first book, *Hope in a Hurricane*, last month. It's Christian historical fiction set against the actual events of Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Zealous for God's people, (believer or not) especially the tired, lost, and forgotten, I wrote this book to encourage and uplift. Life is hard, but we have a mighty God who can reach anyone.
This book is available on Amazon, and if you are interested, check out my website at csgolding.com
Cheers!

Hello all.I recently published my first book and, I guess, if I have to label it with one genre, I'd say "absurdist" fiction. It's a collection of short stories titled "Small Problems: 17 Twisted Tales of the Macabre and Existential Dread." Early readers call it "bizarre," "weird," and "cynical." I'm taking those as compliments -- because why not? You can find paperback and e-book versions here:

Hi everyone! My name is Pamela Bowen, and I’m the author of My Journey Beyond the Well: Grace, Identity, and Purpose. This book is a faith-based memoir written for women who have walked through brokenness, loss, shame, grief, hard relationships, or seasons where they felt unseen, but still believed God had more for their story.
Through my personal journey and the biblical story of the woman at the well, I share how God can meet us in the places we thought disqualified us and gently lead us into healing, identity, and purpose.
If you enjoy Christian memoirs, faith-based encouragement, personal testimony, and stories of redemption, I would be honored for you to check it out.

Hello everyone, true to the group's name, I am here to shamelessly promote my debut novel, "Broken Bonds", book 1 in the trilogy "The Everytime Witches".It is a time-travel fantasy with elements of dystopian fantasy and follows a circle of witches, who rescue those in peril across the centuries while they are being relentlessly pursued by an evil witch hunter.
If you think a completely clean story (no smut, no gore, no graphic violence), with strong female characters and some unlikely heroes that have to face a complex antagonist from the Middle Ages might be your thing, go check it out.
It now has two 5-star reviews right here on goodreads!
It's available to read on Kindle Unlimited, or buy for £3.99

My first book (well, 'technically' the first part of the first book...) was published back in January and went on sale mid Feb this year!
My first time ever being published, lots to learn and I hope you enjoy the tale. Available to buy now from pretty much every outlet you'd want to use online (and hopefully bricks and mortar book shops soon too!) but I would love to hear what people think about it! Part 2 is written, but still in the editing process, and will hopefully be able to be released soon if Part 1 does well enough!
The Circle of Wind follows the lives of two children from different walks of life in a fantasy world that has plenty of mysticism and mystery to unfold. And the narrator is a dragon in disguise...
Not for children necessarily (some adult themes and there is only so much censorship you can do when it comes to people stabbing other people with sharp pieces of metal) and not a 'Romantasy' style novel. But if you like Sanderson, Weiss, Hickman, Abnett and others with a dash of Sir Terry in places, hopefully this is just right for you!
If you have read it, and liked it, or didn't, I'd love to hear your feedback. I'm writing Book 2 at the moment and would love to know how you feel after book 1, part 1. Reviews would also be great!
Shameless plug over! Enjoy!
