I love reading books but at time we had a moment of our lives to write an original story. Let’s exchange books we wrote and self published by giving a summary of it why is it different from the rest and why should we be interested in it. Is it something that inspired from another series, is it trying something new and risky, or probably is something plain fun!

Regnum Noctis: Vol. I.I wrote it because I had a dream about this 8 years ago, About this relationship.
My other series The Order I wrote because I was playing Fallout 76 for 1000 hours last year and I started to write a fanfic about it which is 320k words so far. Then I originalized it and here you go, I have the Order. Nobody cares about them, btw. ;D... :(
There you go - swords & sorcery adventure that recaptures the fun of exploring a new fantasy world, sets the stage for more while keeping itself well-contained if the reader simply wants to read it through and set it down.
Plus, no dippy artificially injected relationships or sexualtiy! Just a good adventure with loads of fun and interesting characters ).
Amor Fati: An Incredible True Story of Survival, Hope & HealingI wrote this memoir after I reached a major crossroads in my life two years ago. I published it in February, earlier this year, and initially I had thought I wanted to share my story to help other survivors. However, it ended up being a fundamental part of my own healing process too. If it helps even just one other person to keep going, and to not give up on their life, then it will have been worth all the trauma I ever suffered.
Hey Booktok! I write psychological horror, high‑concept sci‑fi, and first‑contact romance — all with a brain‑bending edge. Here are my books:Mindscript — slow‑burn psychological horror where the danger isn’t what you see… but how you understand it.
The Quiet Lattice — high‑concept sci‑fi about a lunar discovery revealing humanity is being measured by an ancient galactic enforcement system.
Resonance — a first‑contact romance about a scientist who listens to a silent sky… until something knocks.
If you’re into reality‑bending horror, sweeping sci‑fi, or emotional first‑contact stories, I’d love to hear what you’re reading right now.

Hi guys I’m actually writing a book currently and need some honest feedback back! I still don’t have a title lol. I’ll paste the first chapter and anyone let me know if they want to read the second.
Chapter 1The scent of the room wakes me up. Antiseptic. Sharp. It hits my senses like a physical blow. When I force my eyes open, I immediately regret that particular decision when a blinding white light blazes into my eyes, making my head throb and groan in pain.
When the stabbing throb at my temples settles down to a softer, rhythmic pulse, I open my eyes again and squint, waiting for them to adjust to the bright light reflecting off the shining white tiles of my room.
I pause.
Wait.
My apartment doesn’t have white tiles on the floor. I look at the sheets: white and itchy fabric, not my soft gray sheets with my fluffy black comforter. Not my twin bed. A hospital bed. I look around the room. The rhythmic heart monitors that were placed next to my bed start to pulse with a terrifying urgency as my breath hitches, catching on a raw ache in my chest, as I claw at the bedsheets in a sudden, frantic search for my phone. I needed to check the time, needed to make sure I wasn't late for work.
The grief was a fresh, jagged weight on my heart, heavy with the knowledge that my mother’s funeral had been just yesterday, and the silence of this unknown hospital room felt like a betrayal of my mourning. I try to sit up, but gasp as a wave of pain radiates from my left shoulder all the way to the tips of my fingers. I look at it and find it in a cast, suddenly realizing that I have a bandage around my head as well.
As the door creaks open, I expect a nurse to saunter into the room and explain what the hell I’m doing in a hospital and why my shoulder aches like a knife is jabbing through it repeatedly, but instead, a man I don’t recognize steps into the room, bathed in fluorescent white light that shines on him from the buzzing lights on the hospital room’s ceiling, his face etched with a desperate, intimate relief, as he saw that I was awake, that made my skin crawl with the realization that I was utterly, inexplicably lost.
I’m going insane. I think to myself as the man quickly paces over to my bed, taking my hand with practiced gentleness as if he had done this a thousand times before.
“My love. I am so glad you are alright.” The man says with a slight British accent. His voice claws at the edge of my brain, as if I recognized it, as if I recognized him. But I had never before seen this man in my entire life.
When he places a kiss to my knuckles, I realize I’m just staring. I flinch and draw my hand away, holding it to my chest.
A look of utter confusion and hurt destroys the look of compassion and relief previously occupying his features, taking its place.
“Do I… do I know you?” I ask the strange (and gorgeous-looking) man.
With bright, ice-blue eyes, and a beautiful fan of pitch dark hair framing his head, ruffled and messy as if he had been raking his hands through it for the past hour, this man could be a god. The messiness of his hair made him look even sexier. I realize I’m staring again and look away, pulling my eyes from his piercing, ice-blue gaze.
“Yes, my love. I’m your husband, Julian. Don’t you remember, Elena? We have been married for over 2 years now.”
I can feel his gaze on me as I lay back down fully, sighing in relief as I relax into the unfortunately not-so-comfortable hospital bed, the white-sheeted pillows sinking against the weight of my head.
When my brain registers his words, I freeze. Married? I wasn’t married! I had just experienced my mother’s funeral yesterday! And now this lunatic is saying we’re married?
Well that’s that! I’m going insane!
The shock must be evident on my face, because Julian, with a final and utter look of confusion on his face, drawing his perfect brows together, and those beautifully sculpted lips into a slight frown, races out of the room and closes the door.
Did I scare him away?
Lunatic. I think to myself.
I wait for a nurse to come in and explain what the hell is going on, but of course my so called “husband” walks back into the room, a man in a white coat and salt-and-pepper slicked back hair, slight wrinkles on his face showing his age and experience, strides into the room after Julian, a frown tugging at the older man’s lips and crazy brows creating a crease on his forehead as Julian speaks to him in a hushed tone. The older man’s brows shoot up, and he looks at me then, with concern in his eyes. They both do. The older man, who must be a doctor of some sort, walks up to my bed and shines a light in my right eye with a small flashlight of sorts. I’m so shocked by the sudden brightness that when the doctor flashes it into my other eye just as fast and flicks it off, I see spots. I blink a couple of times and then I can see the man more clearly as he jots something down on a wooden paper, concern taking over his features.
“The trauma to the occipital lobe is more extensive than we feared” the doctor mumbles seemingly to himself. “Two and a half years, gone…”
But I heard it.
And as he jots some more stuff down on that clipboard and checks me out some more, jotting even more stuff down on that stupid piece of paper, everything is blurry, sounds are muffled, my head throbs. My shoulder hurts badly when pain spikes through my arm once more. And that does it.
Darkness swallows me whole, the last coherent thought I have telling me that I am absolutely not okay. And where the hell is my phone?

*Mindscript* is a psychological horror story about a book that seems to read you back. The more you try to understand it, the worse it gets.
I’m currently giving away the free prequel, *The Grammar of Attention*, here:

I read this recently and the whole “the book adapts to you” angle really stuck with me.
Definitely one of the more unusual psychological horrors I’ve picked up.
I’ve explored a few genres, starting with my time-travel trilogy, The Fallbrook Chronicles, set right here in my California hometown. But my heart truly lies with my current project: the Kat Booker Mysteries. If you enjoy a mix of Michael Connelly’s grit and Tana French’s atmosphere, this series is for you.My favorite part of the process is planting the breadcrumbs that lead to a shocking finale. While my prequel novella, The Weight of the Shield, is a fast-paced introduction to the world, I think Broken Shields is where the clues and twists really shine.

Good day, everyone. I write geopolitical thrillers. Others would categorize them as spy thrillers. My books have been compared to work written by Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, and Robert Ludlum. If anyone is interested in high-action, intense, movie-like spy thrillers, let me know, and I'd be happy to introduce you to a few of my books in my Covert World series.
Have a wonderful day.

Hi there. Anne Margaux here. I published Capitol Hill Hearts - book one of my lesbian ensemble series. On KU and always want to hear your feedback. I’m finishing book 2 sometime this summer.
Haeley Bloom can arrange the perfect bouquet for anyone — except her own love life.
When her Seattle flower shop’s holiday wreath becomes Capitol Hill’s hottest gossip board, her friends stage an intervention: one Christmas Eve at Misty Cove, where the whole town is basically a lesbian holiday rom-com waiting to happen.
She showed up looking for nothing. She found a ribbon shop run by a woman who charges in courage, a pianist who could stop traffic, and a nurse who’s been quietly receiving her anonymous flower deliveries for years.
Turns out, love has been leaving notes the whole time. She just wasn’t reading them.
My best to you always…
Anne
Hello everyone,My name is Marek, and I am a writer who loves stories with emotion, tension, and characters that stay with you after the last page.
I have published several books already, and I am also working on new projects. Writing means a lot to me, but I also know it can feel lonely sometimes, so I would love to connect with readers and fellow book lovers here. I enjoy talking about story ideas, book progress, characters, and the writing journey in general, because it helps the work feel shared instead of done in silence.
I also offer free books to readers who are genuinely interested in my work. If one of my stories sounds like something you might enjoy, feel free to reach out and I will be happy to help.
I am looking forward to meeting people here, discussing books, and being part of the community.

Hello fellow readers,I'm excited to share my award-winning memoir, "A Warrior's Testimony," which has recently received a Global Recognition Award. This deeply personal story chronicles my journey from homelessness and debilitating illness to spiritual awakening and purpose.
About the Book:
"From Ashes to Glory: A Woman's Triumphant Rise from Pain to Power" explores themes of resilience, faith, and transformation. If you enjoy memoirs that are both heart-wrenching and uplifting, this might resonate with you.
Why I Wrote This Book:
After facing years of physical pain from Hidradenitis Suppurativa, emotional trauma from being orphaned, and the struggle of homelessness, I discovered healing through spirituality and self-discovery. I wrote this book to offer hope to others facing similar battles.
You can find "A Warrior's Testimony" on Amazon: https://a.co/d/0cZxyQpK
I'd love to hear your thoughts if you give it a read! The journey from pain to power is one we can all relate to in different ways.
Best,
Dalyanna
Hi everyone, a huge salute to all the authors here turning their imaginations into words.I'm from Turkey. I write about the occult and ancient folklore from Anatolia—a land thousands of years old, filled with terrors you’ve likely never heard of. I truly believe that this 'Anatolian Noir' style offers a massive, untapped world of horror. It’s raw, it’s atmospheric, and frankly, quite different from the tropes we are all used to.
But of course, I am biased. I often wonder: if someone is used to eating hamburgers every day, will they even appreciate a rich, spicy kebab? That’s exactly what I'm trying to figure out. I'm ready to write long-form series in this universe, but first, I need to know if this specific 'flavor' of horror actually connects with readers outside of my culture.
I’m just a storyteller trying to bridge two different worlds of darkness. If anyone wants to try something from the shadows of the East, my work is out there waiting to be discovered.
I wish you all the absolute best with your stories.

The Three Apples of Discord is a series of essays exploring the fractures of human identity and consciousness through the powerful symbolism of the apple. Here, the apple represents the biblical fruit of knowledge, carrying with it an inherent discord: a wisdom that, once acquired, shatters the harmony between humanity and the divine, placing them in a state of eternal tension and alterity. The collection unfolds through three profound analyses:
Manifesto of Persephone: Discord between the sexes. An investigation into female submission and social structures from the Classical to the Victorian era, revealing the trauma of family roles caught between maternal sacrifice and paternal absence.
Narcissus, My Love: Discord of the consciousness. An inquiry into desire as the engine of the Self, from the physical to the virtual world, culminating in a reflection on Universal Consciousness as a redundant system revolving around the One.
Oedipus Amor Fati: Discord with time. An analysis of trauma divided into rejection, guilt, shame, and fear. This essay deconstructs the concept of prophecy through the logic of non-linear time, where the chronological order is inverted: the effect triggers the cause, rendering trauma an inevitable and retroactive mechanism.

I am offering 100 free copies of The Abyss of Stolen Souls, Book 1 of The Shattered Legacy. This is not a traditional trilogy. Each book brings a new story, but the same characters continue through the series, so the trilogy is built with continuity.
I will be honest, the first book is not perfect, and it is shorter than I originally imagined. But it turned out the way I wanted in one important sense, it introduces the story, the world, and the characters exactly as it needed to. And there is a good chance it may pull you into the rest of the journey.
If you would like a free copy, please email [author@dreamofbook.com](mailto:author@dreamofbook.com) with this simple message:
I would like a copy of The Abyss of Stolen Souls.
A review is not mandatory, but it is always appreciated and it helps more than many people realize.
Please note, promotional emails offering services of any kind will be automatically moved to spam.
Thank you to everyone willing to give the book a chance.
