I'd definitely recommend the stormlight archive, by brandon sanderson :)
“Okay so I would recommend A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, but it’s a bit of a commitment , so here are some fantasy books I personally think you should try:Red Rising by Pierce Brown, The Sword of Kaigen by M.L. Wang, The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang (my absolute favorite), The Phoenix King by Aparna Verma, Fireborne by Rosaria Munda, Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, Ironbound by Andrew Givler, The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne, The Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi (I’m still thinking about this one), City of Gods and Monsters by Kayla Edwards (slow burn with lots of yearning), and The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty.
