Maria Ashford Earlier last year, my friend and I started a book blog/indie book review site called Bookshelfie. Now we're looking for cool indie books to feature!

If you’re an indie author or have something you think more people should be reading, feel free to submit—it’s totally free, and all genres are welcome. We just want to find great stories and help spread the word. We're even holding a competition for a $500 Barnes and Noble voucher, and all books submitted are automatically entered. No catches!

You can submit via: www.book-shelfie.com/submit-book!

J. Zerber Hi Maria,

Thanks for sharing this — it's always great to see new indie book review platforms supporting authors.

I actually just submitted my debut novel The Goldwyn County Candy Ban through the Bookshelfie submission page. It's a coming-of-age story set in a strange version of the rural South in the mid-1990s where candy has been outlawed.

Looking forward to checking out the site and discovering other indie books as well.

Mae Dianne Looking for ARC readers for my book launching on March 24, 2026:
What happens when devotion, desire, and faith collide?
Disillusioned in Love: Notes of a Black Female Physician is a raw, intimate exploration of marriage, temptation, and spiritual clarity through the eyes of Dr. Apryl Brant—a woman who has given everything to love and faith, yet feels unseen in both.
As a physician, Apryl is disciplined and compassionate. As a wife, she is faithful to a marriage that does not return her devotion. When an attractive coworker enters her life and awakens emotions she has long suppressed, Apryl is forced to confront the painful gap between what she believes, what she feels, and what she deserves.
Written with honesty and spiritual depth, this novel will resonate with readers of Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, Waiting to Exhale–style emotional introspection, and contemporary Christian women’s fiction that tackles real marital struggles with grace.
