I really loved powerless and all of the inheritance games books. I need good book recommendations. They do have to be semi- appropriate for teens. Some cussing is ok but no super sexual scenes pls. Tysm! 🫶🫰

hey!! I loved powerless as well, and here are some series I also loved, which are definitely appropriate for teens: - the naturals (same author as the inheritance games)
- the prison healer (a personal favourite, it's amazing! 💗)
- the cruel prince (similar vibe to powerless)
Anyone feel free to shoot me a friend request if you want to discuss romantasy or any other books! 🫶🏻💗

I’m Swini, I’m 17 years old, and I just published my very first book!My book Timeline Murder is a high school/college crime mystery packed with unexpected plot twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. If you love stories where no one is who they seem, I’d love for you to check it out! ✨(Time travel+ murder mystery )

If you like romantasies but want a break from Faes, I recommend 'the games gods play'. I really enjoyed the read
i loved heartless i just finished it last week! i really love shatter me im currently on the 2nd book! also red queen is good, and clockwork angel :))
What do you like to read? I have a sci-fi thriller about an impending asteroid that wraps the main character into a global conspiracy. But when his family is killed, he sets off on a path of revenge.

If you’re open to something emotionally intense and very character-driven, you might like my new book Monsieur Monster. It follows a woman who slowly realizes she’s in a relationship that’s quietly unraveling her sense of self—and the story focuses just as much on her internal awakening and healing as it does the relationship itself.
It’s not fast-paced or trope-heavy, but it is very honest, reflective, and grounded in real emotional experience.
If you're looking for a powerful and compelling memoir, check out my book, Clearly Lies Are True. I'd love to hear your reviews! You can follow me on Instagram and on TikTok @clearlyliesaretrue
Clearly Lies Are True
Pamela Nickel Williams
Read The wolf and The Moon: Wicked Grace. It’s available on amazon. Also available on kindle unlimited. Trust me when i say don’t start until you’re ready to deal with the aftermath
If you’re still looking for book recs I’d recommend the book Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Really good book, action filled fantasy, and a quite complicated romance story between the characters :)
Hey if your still looking I would recommend The naturals
Caraval
The cruel prince
A good girls guide to murder
once upon a broken heart
These were all great books and I really enjoyed them as well as powerless and the inheritance games<3
LivLovely wrote: "Maybe Caraval, belladonna, one dark window, or immortal consequences"One dark window and caraval series are amazing like the comment said!!! I also recommend A darker shade of magic series!!!
Listen, as Tim Maloney brings the written word to life. The first three chapters of ONCE UPON A TIME IN DETROIT by A. C. Sherman

If you’re into military sci-fi and espionage in space, I recommend Conflict in Shadow by Patrick G. Cox .A Q-Ship captain operating undercover, corporate warfare, assassins backing one side of the conflict, and intelligence missions in deep space — it blends strategy and suspense really well.
Definitely worth adding to your TBR if you like high-stakes interstellar politics.
Hey BookTok readers on Goodreads! 👋I'm the author of If I Could Speak… — a raw, emotional poetry collection that I think will hit hard if you're into the kind of poetry trending in the healing and mental wellness space on TikTok right now.
The collection follows three acts:
🖤 The Fall — sitting with the pain
🌊 The Awakening — finding clarity
✨ The Road Ahead — choosing yourself
It's the kind of book you read when you need to feel seen. No filters, no fluff — just honest words for the things most of us are too scared to say.
And it's FREE on Kindle Unlimited right now.
If you read it, I'd love for you to add it on Goodreads and leave your thoughts. Honest reviews mean everything to an indie author. What poetry collections have been on your radar lately? Let's talk! 📚 If I Could Speak...
If you like memoirs, I'd suggest Accidental Rebel: My Story of Interracial Love and Loss by Annie Waxman. It's set in the 1960's South and paints a vivid picture of what the time was like and the author's struggle with being in an interracial relationship. The story really pulls you in. It's a really good book!
I just started reading a book on KU. It's called Play by Patrick Furry. Its super weird but dope! A haunted VHS rental store and a guy who can't sleep starts renting old movies and going insane.
Please read the book, I have published, and I hope you will like as it has everything you need from love to all of it. Its a lesbian novel, first part is out, and other parts yet to release.
https://play.google.com/store/books/d...Fast paced Epic fantasy. Setting is like ASOIAF but mainly dual pov and first person. Now free on google play.
Kissed by the devil by C H Elton. It’s a Faustian thriller that twists what we think about the devil and what causes real evil. It’s not horror, it’s a fast paced dark thriller.
The sun queen trials series, by Nisha j tuli, very much trial part of powerless and heartfelt but on edge like inheritance game.
Hasherverse: Season 1 – Kill Logs: Get the footage. Get paid. Don’t get killed. The Dollhouse Widow : The Land of Lébétan
Between Wings and Flames — ACOTAR meets Fourth Wing.A spicy romantasy available on Kindle Unlimited. 🔥🐉

There's a campus novel about a bereaved homely student in London who fake-haunts her way back into her home. It's funny and uplifting despite the sad start. 'Holy Phrog' by Camren Walker https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
