Thank you Andrea. I agree - this book is relentless. In my real guardianship case (which inspired the novel), I kept getting curveballs and setbacks, so I wanted to stay true to that feeling of frustration and helplessness. Thanks for sticking with it and I hope the ending was worth the harsh ride. Liz
