Hello, I'm Joseph Isenberg. I recently contributed an essay to the book "Amelia: Counterrevolution," edited by Clayton Barnett. The short stories in that book explore the adventures and misadventures of Amelia, the character from the game Pathways, where she is cast as a villain for simply advocating for small government, the rule of law, free expression, and orderly migration. Since January, many internet creators have adopted Amelia as a symbol in the fight against the creeping surveillance state in Britain, and it seemed natural to create the book and write stories for it. I think our editor, Clayton Barnett, has worked to build a beautiful book, of which everyone involved can be justly proud. But don't take my word for it. Check it out on Amazon today.

Thanks to Mr. Isenberg for the invite to this Fan Club. I've not been on Goodreads for quite some time and it is nice to be back.Whim is not the apposite word, but back in mid-January I became aware that there was something stirring in some cultural corners of the internet: a lavender-haired pixie-goth seemed poised to upend established political culture. I reached out to some of the most talented writers I knew and suggested we had mere weeks to nail ourselves to this comet's tail.
Politics is downstream from culture and the Home Office of the UK - well, they didn't shoot themselves in the foot; they aimed higher. I am pleased and honored to have been a part of this amazing project. Revolution calling; Deus vult.
