Hello all. I'm polishing a final draft of an Austen-inspired American Revolution historical fiction, entitled "Kindle the Light of Liberty."
My characters, Rose Wachsman and Nathan Hirsch, are styled after Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. There are a few other inspired moments and characters, such as Caroline Bingley infused into a very real historical figure, Rebecca Franks, and a Mr. Jacob Hirsch who mimics Lady Catherine de Bourgh, but this is NOT Pride and Prejudice.
Would anyone care to read the PDF? It's approx 52K, which includes the historical afterward with details about real Jewish American colonists. I'm looking for overall beta feedback. If you are an author, I would be honored to share a line or two of endorsement.
