I'm gutted that is was so bad. I was looking forward to it because the premise was great
I was wondering what all the fuss was about regarding this author as all my friends had been raving about his work, mind that was his other series.
I give up - why were her breasts constantly mentioned. Loved the Lewis trilogy but not going to finish this. I’ll try Coffin Road. So bad.
You don’t need to apologise: delete the first paragraph, your review is fine without it, and perfectly clear.
So bad. The descriptions of the women were so misogynistic and a 50 year old man repeatedly commenting about 19 year olds and constantly describing their little nighties etc… and the spoon feeding of clues. This was the second time I tried reading this book and just couldn’t stomach it.
This review is the perfect summation of how this book was written. I didn’t mind the storyline per se because I was looking for something light, but I am definitely not rushing to read the next book for the reasons this review illustrates.
