Daisy Daisy You just said exactly what I was thinking about the book titles these days. I was browsing my "library" this morning and thinking how much better the vintage titles were than todays dross. The amount of unexpected pregnancies in the 21st century is frightening.
Great review!

Shivani Singh The scene where he gifts her a box of talcum powder?! ?!!

Jasbell76 Great review as always👏 Please, for your good state of mind, you should stay away from Anne Mather's old books, their stories can get you piss off 🙉
About the covers and their tittles, I agree 💯% to tell you the truth, I prefer to reread more than 50 times an old good Harlequin, than the new releases 🥺

Vashti Stellar review! This is par for the course with Anne Mather...her books always had a " familial" scenario.
As to these new covers..not a fan esp the " cartoon" type ones...the billionaire and the pregnant chick on the covers now is the new hot trope I guess.

And it's a pity because some stories are very interesting, but the titles are really silly!
And those covers!
Thank you!

AM has also some of the worst parents ever!

Noël Cades I just couldn’t get past the heroine being endlessly rude to Piers for the first half. Then the absolute train wreck of the second half. I can’t see how he fell in love with her when she was endlessly nasty, and refused to get a divorce “for his religion” but was happy to commit adultery despite that religion.
