In fact, I think the movie was much better than the book-- in part thanks to Jessie Buckley's great talent. One example: The movie was able to portray how the audience didn't understand the concept of actors not being actual people, something I never felt in the book.
That’s good to know. I wasn’t rushing to watch the movie given I didn’t love the book, but maybe I will make time for it given what you shared. Thank you!
