Hi thanks for your review. If you read the prequel which is the second book in the series Eric Stephenson Bloodlines it'll explain the serial unaliver dad's obsession with Maeve. And there is a third book... not sure if that would be your cup of tea either. But Bloodlines is graphic and horror, you might like that one.
Hey also being my first book I've written yeah I wasn't on par with it. If you notice in the beginning Ethan left Nebraska and drove to pick up his sis from another area outside of Nebraska. From there I faked the location of Trenton which is a 9-10 hour drive from when they picked up Maeve. The bikers driving from Trenton to Nebraska yes did take 12 hours, because they didn't stop like Ethan in another area which was a closer route to their family Manor. Also I'm not American myself but used American states because thats what sells more when you write in Americanized English and use Americanized states. Serial unaliver stories are more widespread and media related in the US. I can't write about Canada, no one would buy it, our English is different we barely have serial unalivers I can write similarities about and Canadians don't really swear or show much aggression. No offense. But that's the premise the second book however like I mentioned above is way more detailed and better.
