Woah - only 2 stars?! Never read it! But I’m curious why the low marks?
I feel very alone with this take, but I was really irritated by the writing style. Cool sci-fi premise and dilemma/solution but born out through stale dialogue and paper thin characters with zero development all around. I actually think the movie could be great, but as a written work, this is a no for me.
Wow. I find that review rather surprising. I loved the book, loved it as an audiobook, and loved the movie.
I loved the movie and would give it 5/5. The story itself isn’t bad!
