Lynne Stringer I find that a particular plotline always grabs me:
Girl meets boy.
Boy does something amazing that proves to girl that he is not normal.
Girl must find out how boy is able to do this.
They (usually) fall in love.

I have read/watched so many things with this kind of a plot and I frequently become obsessed with them.
