Peter Rook I like the larger font. YES! It makes for a bigger book. NO! It won't fit in my pocket. YES! it's easier to read.

Chris The font is quite large, 14 or 16 and the book size is approximately the same size as a recent hardback purchase.
I'm writing a biography about and Edwardian actress with a view to it being A4 in size so type using 12 Times New Roman, I made the mistake of sending a short story for self publishing requesting that it be the usual paperback size, A5 but forgot to adjust the font size, the result was very small font lol.
I looked at Amazon publishing for my actress biography and they claim to offer support but this doesn't seem to be the case, my friend, who self published a similar book, A4 size used a local printer but he then had to send out copies himself which has been time consuming as well as costly. It seems that indi authors are beset by problems, hopefully DX's next venture will be less stressful.

Yes, I'm all for less stress! I'm also talking up about my problems to encourage other authors to share how to avoid the pit traps. (Which is what you are doing because you're way ahead of me and have already figured out to share your info)

Dexter Well, I certainly need this info. Last time I dealt with this was over ten years. (Time flies)
