Pearl Bensimoun Has anybody read the new CCA book, Popular? It's the best book in the Canterwood Crest series, in my opinion! :) Comment about your opinion on the book if you've read it.

L In the past few years i have not read any 'Canterwood Crest' books as i have alternatively been immersed in more non-fiction, equitation and horsemanship manuals. I do know that the series is however fantastic; being both really engaging and very popular with all horse and pony mad people both young and older (like me!). I adore the covers of the books as well which unlike some pony/horse stories are much more realistic, eye-catching and fantastic! I must add some CC books to my bookshelves! x

Deborah Lucas I will be publishing my memoir later this year which tells how horses helped me heal emotional wounds from my childhood, and how I learned how I learned to help horses heal through hands on myofascial work. But the biggest lessons were with horses being born and dying in my backyard.

Is this a subject that anyone in this group would be interested in? I haven't found too many horse people who are interested in memoir, because they mostly spend time with their horses or read non-fiction books that help them in equitation and horse care. Am I wrong?

Deborah Lucas My memoir, DANCE WHILE THE FIRE BURNS, about my love for horses, and my fraught-filled journey of rescuing horses, learning how to "talk horse," how to massage my horses, and moving our backyard herd across the country in the middle of personal and family crises is a Finalist for the 2025 American Writing Award in Animal, Memoir, and Best New (Debut) Nonfiction categories. I tried adding this to my book description, but was not allowed to make any changes. Anyone know how I can get the word out? The eBook is going on sale for 99 cents on April 13th for one week.
