Ashley Meyer i have been searching for this book for years. What i do remember is it starts with a young woman who somehow ends up on a ship. She finds herself with a captain in his room and he wants to sexually assault her. Later in the book she ends up in a bordello/brothel and somehow gets drugged. The woman who runs the place helps a man the young woman does not want sexually assault her. While she is being assaulted, the woman who runs it shows the main man of the story what is happening through some kind of hole and he mistakes it for the young woman doing this willingly. Towards the end of the story she is on the main mans ranch and the ranch hands try to sexually assault her and he saves her and he finally learns she never did any of it willingly. Someone please help me find this book. I have tried AI, chat gpt, multiple searches..... help?!?!?

Brian You'll have a lot better luck if you give specific plot details in the subject.

Kat Ashley, per group rules (and to get more people to read your query) you need to add more detail to your header, e.g. subject (historical? romance) and some of the plot details, or else the mods will lock your post. Take a look at what other people have done as examples.

Since you think you read it in the 90s, I'm assuming you read a physical book? Do you remember what the cover looked like?

Lobstergirl It is mandatory to include genre and plot details in your topic header, as per the Group Rules.

Because this group is so huge, we will close threads that don't adhere to this requirement.

Please add more plot details to your topic header from what you've already written.
