Jan-Maat But what about the Templars? "The Templars have something to do with everything"!

message 2: by sologdin (new)

sologdin fairly certain that the templars, the JFK assassination, the rothschilds, the merovingians, the rosicrucians, the nazis, the death of princess diana, and so on all make an appearance.

message 3: by Grack21 (new)

Grack21 what about 9/11? Those are always the most interesting ones.

message 4: by Grack21 (new)

Grack21 IN a omg you are crazy sense, of course. :P

message 5: by sologdin (new)

sologdin my edition is late '90s. maybe there's an updated? i'm fairly certain that he wrote a 9/11 book. can't recall if the 9/11 book is also the matrix book, as in, we're all trapped in it--no shit!

message 6: by Horza (new)

Horza iirc Jake Horsfield's the Matrix Paranoia Cash-In guy (with help from Carlos Casteneda). Icke's 9/11 book was 'Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Centre'.

He booked a lecture theatre at my uni last year, was going to go but it sold out quickfast :(

Ian Vance yes, the biggest secret was released in '99, I believe. I remember working on a remodel for a trustfunder down in Sante Fe during that time and her roommate was an ubergeek with a 10,000 volume library. He was particularly zealous about ol mr. icke and I had the distinct pleasure of showing off the cartoon crazy to my hilbilly workmates (i'd already been exposed to all of this the year prior by a friend / son of 'true believers') I'll never forget the bug-eyed response when I abstractly summerized the child-rape, lizard feasting, bushco-royals alliance. good times.

Grack21 The mind boggles. O.o

message 9: by Mark (new)

Mark Dunn I'm new to this silliness ,so I wonder did the reviewer break the rules of the game. Are we allowed to say outright ,this is BS?

message 10: by sologdin (new)

sologdin ha perhaps i have committed some sort of faux pas!

message 11: by Jill H. (new)

Jill H. Is this book supposed to be taken seriously? Maybe it was really written by aliens to mislead us???????

message 12: by The Writers (new)

The Writers Nexus You missed the boat on this one... Icke's research is based in science not fantasy or psychic ability.... His theories make a lot of sense.

like the "evidence" he provides for the lizards, a bunch of sketches that appear to be produced by a fifth grader?

This stuff is good for a laugh, but unfortunately, it distracts well-meaning people from the real issues and corruption going on day-to-day in favor of lowest-common-denominator tabloid trash a la icke, jones, all modern-day con artist con theorists.

sologdin based in science

the evidence of the existence of transdimensional telepathic reptilians is limited to some telepaths whom he personally knows, right? ergo, not science.

message 15: by Oblomov (new)

Oblomov I've never been sure if reading David 'I am Jesus in a shellsuit' Icke is a true act of literary and psychological masochism, or cringe humour in it's truest Poe's law form. Nice review, btw.

Oblomov Weslie wrote: "JOIN ILLUMINATI TODAY FOR FREE AND BECOME RICH/PROTECTED AND FAMOUS.

Da fuk? Is this a bot?

message 17: by sologdin (new)

sologdin bot, trump cultist--same difference?

message 18: by AFD (new)

AFD @sologdin Your review is nothing but a shallow, childish & ignorant showcase of intellectual masturbation.
Thank you for showing me why humanity has remained engulfed in ignorance for so long. Ignorance is a choice in the 21st century. Nothing more & nothing less.

SpikeSpiegel Lean Left Much? If your so sure of its unrealistic undertones why’d you read it?

message 21: by sologdin (new)

sologdin spike, i'm some sort of anarcho-marxist. it's thus not 'leaning' at all.

though i had a reasonable skepticism before reading this text, i didn't draw my conclusions until after finishing. that's how reading is supposed to work. i take it from your comment that you make judgments about books before reading them and then in accordance with those judgments read only books that flatter your prejudices.

message 22: by Wendy (new)

Wendy Waters Your cynicism hasn't aged well now we are globally revolted by the revelations in the Epstein files. They "elites" may lack scales along with compassion and empathy and very possibly, souls.
